Cellular phones are like drugs because it may
cause people to fall with the demon’s call. Little by little, it poisons the
heart and the mind of a human. Too much use of it slowly kills the spiritual
being of a person. Cellular phones are invented to satisfy human needs but
definitely not invented for people to develop strong communication with the
creator, the Lord.
Some
people found these inventions as an instrument for fast communication towards
another person. It seems that some people cannot live without these little
gadgets because for them it is a very important human invention. Yes, they are
right cellular phones can give people the power for easily communication but
they are wrong if they think they cannot live without it. Cellular phones
become the source of evil when people use it in the wrong way. For people who
got addicted with it think that they cannot let go of their cellular phones.
Like with a drug addict, cellular phone addicts feel secure and it seems that
they can do everything because they are holding a new updated model of cellular
phones. Little by little, their teeth became sharper like the crocodile’s teeth
because when people got addicted to cellular phones they easily feel not
contented of what they have and keep on aiming more of it, satisfaction became
out of their mind.
Common
problem that involves cellular phone is when some students keep on using their
cellular phones while on their class, this completely show the loose of respect
of the students towards their teachers. Some people forget the sense of
responsibility, discipline and respect when they use their cellular phones in
the wrong place and in the wrong time.
However, I think the inventor is not the one
who must be blamed with these problems neither the cellular phones. Cellular
phone is not the one who can do something bad it is just the instrument, it is
still the human’s mind who provoked his/her fingers to do something bad using
cellular phones. God created us with the ability to think that’s why people
must not be over ruled by these gadgets. And I think the main reason why some
people lost the sense of respect when they abuse the power of cellular phones
because they already lost their sense of responsibility, respect and
discipline.
God gave
us everything that we need to live. It is wrong to think that we cannot live
without these gadgets because we can live without these just like the ancient
people lived with their simple lives without cellular phones. As long the God
permits us to breathe the fresh air and live with our life, we can live, to
live without these unnecessary things in our life.
It is
not too late, people can still do something to lift up their spiritual being. As
we communicate to the other people using our cellular phones, we must also work
out in developing our relationship towards the creator, the Lord. To
communicate with the Lord we do not have cellular phones, just a simple but
sincere prayer.
